The course is available in eight languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Slovenian, Slovak and Czech).
It represents a complex multilingual study material covering the area of industrial automation and telematics.
This course should help the employees and specialists in the respective area who need re-qualification or knowledge update to keep and/or improve their position in the job market by the means of lifelong learning.

- Specialized eight-language multimedia dictionary (details…)
The specialized eight-language multimedia dictionary focuses on terminology for the area of industrial automation and telematics. It contains about 1200 vocabulary entries in written and spoken form. The available languages are English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Slovenian, Slovak and Czech.
- The option to obtain a certificate after passing the course (details…)
Minimum requirements for successful passing of the course:
- Study of at least 8 modules;
- Successful passing of the final test from the content of at least 8 modules (10 questions per module), i.e. reaching at least 60% of correct answers;
- Filling of the final evaluation questionnaire.
Minimum requirements for obtaining of the certificate include in addition the following:
- Passing of the partial tests and filling of all partial evaluation questionnaires;
- Personal attendance of the final test (in the premises of the training centre);
- Providing of name, surname and date of birth (i.e. the data to be printed on the certificate).
For whom?
The course is intended for all people who need knowledge upgrade in the areas of industrial automation and telematics, who want to get recent news and understand the context (e.g. graduates, employees and experienced experts in both technical and non-technical positions).
For how much?
The expenses related to course development and pilot run during the whole year 2010 are fully covered by EU grant and by the project partners. Tuition is completely free for course participants who will register for study in 2010.
When?
The expected date for launching the course is 15th March 2010.
How?
The online course and the dictionary are provided in electronic form for distance learning. All that is necessary for the trainees is an Internet connection and a computer with Internet browser.

What about the duration?
It depends on you, on your previous knowledge and experience, on your time, and on your ability to absorb new information. The recommended duration of study is two hours five times a week within three months.

The course is tutored, i.e. supported by an e-learning teacher who will guide you according to your actual needs through technical as well as professional issues.
